This course is aligned with the 3rd grade standards. Students will read a novel, investigate a mystery, and explore non-fiction. They also work with the parts of speech. Students keep a journal to upload notes and to essential questions. Interaction with fellow students is encouraged through wikis and discussion boards. At the end of each unit are a test and a project for students to demonstrate their understanding of the unit.
