Class information

What is geometry? A dictionary might say it is the study of shapes and configurations. An even better dictionary might say it is the study of figures in a space of a given number of dimensions and of a given type. A comic might say life is pointless without geometry (and you may or may not get it). But I want you to think of geometry as a game. It's a game that starts with a few rules that we must accept, like passing "GO" brings us $200.
